Post One

Part-time Lecturer in Voice, Speech & Phonetics
The post holder will be asked to work three hours per week in the first instance and deliver voice, speech and phonetics on the BA Hons Acting programme.
Qualifications and Experience
It is expected that the successful applicant will have a formal qualification in Voice for Actors and have had experience of teaching voice in a vocational setting or of being a voice coach in industry. All IAB programmes are taught in English – a requirement of the postholder is that they can teach in English and engage successfully with English language phonetics.
Future Prospects
The IAB is going through a period of substantial growth. It is expected that the successful applicant will become part of the actor training team and as such additional work may become available.

Post Two

Part-time Lecturer in Acting Techniques (Scene Study)
The post holder will be asked to contribute to the delivery of acting techniques through scene study. The position would be fixed term for five weeks teaching approximately 8 hours per week.
Qualifications
It is expected that the successful applicant will have undergone formal actor training (minimum of 3 years duration) and have had a substantial performance career. The successful applicant will have a detailed knowledge of Stanislavsky technique and its application in a vocational training environment.
Future Prospects
The IAB is going through a period of substantial growth. It is expected that the successful applicant will become part of the actor training team and as such additional work may become available.

The IAB is keen to enhance the skills and expertise of its acting teaching team. The IAB would welcome CVs from suitably qualified and experienced professional practitioners or teachers who have skills from across the full range of performing arts practice.
